T-ST 72911 - The Dynamic Voice: Roy Hart
This class will continue to examine the extended range of the voice, voice as character, and voice as inspiration through pedagogies from the Roy Hart Theatre. Working individually and in ensemble, students will build on the foundations of pre-requisite vocal and physical practices while exploring intention, intuition, listening, and imagination. The Roy Hart Voice approach explores the spectrum of the voice, journeying across a bridge of sound (between high and low; seen and unseen; beautiful and grotesque; and across all the spectrum of identity) giving access to a wider range of expression for both speaking and singing.
