T-ST 72910 - Voice Over Lab
Voice Over Lab, now that you have access to your natural voice, explores a broad scope of opportunities in which to play with your voice as the primary, if not only, element with which to share a story with an audience. In this voice and speech elective class we explore many genres of voice over in which voice actors work today, through exploratory labs and home study. Basic introduction to audio chains and DAWs comes through this lab work. Studio Labs will focus on bringing the text to life through the actor and on the mic. Elements of form and structure will be covered and students will practice rapid decoding of text to prepare for auditions and demo creation in an area of Voice Over work in which they show the most initial aptitude and interest.
