T-LT 3905 - Performance Theories
This course is an in-depth examination of significant contemporary plays and corresponding theories of drama. The class is a seminar intended for juniors in the Musical Theater and Contemporary Theater BFA programs who have successfully completed and passed Theatre History I and II in the sophomore year. Plays will be analyzed with respect to their historical, socio political, cultural, and performance contexts using critical and cultural theory to ground our discussions.
