T-EN 2943 - Auto Cours 2
Auto Cours 2 is an advancement of the composition and devising practices introduction in Auto Cours 1, as well as an encounter with and exploration of new practices and skills. By definition, “Auto Cours” is “self-course” or self teaching. The compositions are driven and devised by the students themselves, utilizing prompts and feedback from the faculty. The faculty may occasionally provide or demonstrate a particular technique, but the spirit and practice of the class is for students to learn collaborative creation, management of priorities and group dynamics, establishment and adherence to group ethics, and giving and receiving constructive feedback by engaging directly in weekly composition assignments.
