Introduction to aesthetics and style in musical theater singing; exploring timbre qualities; comparing and contrasting legit, contemporary, standard belt, mixed belt, old school legit, and golden age. Students will create a large chart comparison of different aesthetics and will learn to break down the ingredients of those styles that exist under the musical theater umbrella.
