M-LT 71128 - Korean Traditional Music
This course offers an immersion into Korean traditional music through learning about Korean history, scales, genres, instruments, and culture. Students will also have an opportunity to learn Samulnori, a Korean traditional ensemble with four percussion instruments. Learning music of a different culture will expand students' musical experience, and offer fresh approaches to composition.
