The Boston Conservatory places special emphasis on the importance of chamber music in the development of the well-rounded musician. Individual, on-going chamber ensembles are created at the beginning of each semester, assigned repertory, and coached. Weekly masterclasses offered by visiting artists and faculty. Repertory from traditional Western European classical to 21st century music, with opportunities to work with student and established composers. Interdisciplinary collaborations with dance, visual arts, and theater offered. Performances on and off campus.
